– Matt Joyner prophecy at Grace Fellowship Church on 2/26/17
In the book of Ezekiel, God promised He would bless Israel, but He then says He wanted them to ask Him to do what He had already determined to do.
Ezekiel 36:37a: Thus says the Lord God: “I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them.”
We see it is the will of God to pray with thanksgiving and ask Him essentially for everything:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Rejoice always,
pray without ceasing,
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Again in the Old Testament, David described his life of prayer
Psalms 55:16-17
“As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me.
Evening and morning and at noon, I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.”
